Discover Your Future at Aurora Science & Tech!
At Aurora Science & Tech High School, students in grades 9–12 prepare for college, career and life in a community where they are known, supported and challenged to grow.
Through learning in reading, writing, math and science, students build the skills and confidence to pursue their goals. Caring relationships help students feel connected and supported throughout high school as they plan for what comes next.
Part of Aurora Public Schools and the DSST network, AST High School is ranked the #1 high school in Aurora, according to the Colorado School Performance Framework. Home of the Great Horned Owls, we encourage our students to lead with wisdom, integrity and an eye toward the future.

How to Enroll
Our free online application opens December 1. If more students apply than we have seats available, a lottery determines who is offered a seat. Priority is given to:
-
Siblings of current AST students
-
Students who live within the Aurora Public Schools district
-
Students who live outside the district
We’ll let you know if your student is offered a seat and ask you to confirm that they’ll attend. If a seat isn’t available, your student will be placed on a waitlist. Applications close on January 19, 2027. Applications received after the deadline will be added to the waitlist based on the priorities above.
