About Us

Meet the School Director

ShannonFeeneySD2023 (1)Shannon Feeney is thrilled to be starting her second year with the Montview Middle School community as the School Director. Previously, she served as the Associate School Director/School Director in Training at DSST: College View Middle School. While at College View she served as the instructional leader and Special Education Administrator.

Prior to working for DSST she was the Middle School Instructional Leader at Namaste Charter School in Chicago, worked as an instruction coach with Teach For America, and taught 10th grade ELA in the Washington D.C area. A lifelong learner- she has a Masters of Arts in Teaching from American University and a Masters of Education in School Building Leadership from Teachers’ College at Columbia University.
