DSST Montview High School's Anti-Defamation League:

Mural and Cultural Expedition Fundraiser

This year, the Montview High School's Anti-Defamation League has some ambitious fundraising goals and would love your help! We are partnering with a local artist (Kaylee Bender, nokaylee.com) to create a mural that will stand as a dedication to the various "Affinity groups" that work to advocate for and celebrate the different cultures that make up our student population. Alongside this, our club organizes and helps orchestrate a large cultural expedition every year where we have performances and a huge potluck-style dinner to celebrate the many different cultures at our school. This year will be the 4th annual event, and we want to raise funds to pay for a professional performance, decorations, extra food (to make sure everyone is fed), tableware, etc.

In a time where it feels like there is so much hate in the world, the little things we can do to celebrate the many amazing cultures in our community can go a long way toward reminding us all that we live in a beautiful world.
