About Us

Meet the School Director

Ian HS BrochureIan McIntire has been serving Denver students since 2009 as an equity-focused, bilingual educator focused on serving the Cole and Near Northeast community.
He has taught 2nd-5th grades at Cole Arts and Sciences Academy, focusing on math, science, and English Language Development. In 2016, he joined DSST as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction. He has led the instructional leadership team in the roles of DCI, Associate School Director, and School Director in Training. It has been a longtime dream to lead a school on the Cole Campus, and Ian is thrilled to take the helm for both DSST: Cole Middle and DSST: Cole High School.

Cole High School Team Sports takes place in
partnership with Manual High School Athletic Programs. All Cole student-athletes
