About Us

Meet the School Director

ElinCurrySD2023 (1)Elin has degrees in biology and Spanish from Colorado State University and received her master’s in curriculum and instruction from the University of Colorado and her principal licensure from the University of Denver. Elin was a founding staff member on two campuses and taught science in Denver Public Schools prior to joining DSST. Since June of 2014 she has helped lead the team at DSST: Cedar to achieve breakthrough middle and high school results while founding a 6-12 campus. Elin believes deeply in the potential of all
students, the power of integrated schools, and the necessity of college access for all students in the 21st century.
