Stapleton Middle School News
You may have seen some conflicting reports today, April 16, about threats to the Denver Metro Area that are currently being investigated. We received an alert from Denver Public Schools approximately five minutes before our middle school dismissal that prompted us to briefly enter into a lockout until we were sure that we were cleared and could dismiss as normal. We still added extra staff presence outside and adjusted after-school activities in order to err on the side of caution. We will be following vigilant procedures today to ensure that all students get home safely. Staff will remain present on all campuses until
all students have safely left the building.
Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of your children, and will keep you updated if anything changes.
