Orientation will cover vital information, including key foundations of our program for both students and families, guidance and support for the next steps in the enrollment process, and provide students a space to begin to build our community. We require all new families to attend the orientation as it will be interactive and will give families the opportunity to meet a large number of teachers and staff.

The FAQ's below apply only to our traditional New Student Academy.
1. Our summer plans coincide with the New Student Academy. What do we need to do in order to ensure that my child does not lose his/her spot?
We understand that summer vacations are sometimes planned many months in advance. If you find that your student will not be able to attend New Student Academy, please contact our Front Office Manager, Leonardo Ruiz at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss arrangements.
2. Are students required to wear uniforms during New Student Academy?
Yes. Students are required to wear uniforms and abide by the dress code - you will learn more about this and the ordering process at orientation. Uniforms can be purchased at www.dsstknights.com.

No, unfortunately transportation is not available during summer school. Many of our students use RTD or, if you live relatively close, ride bikes to and from school both during summer school and the school year.

No. Lunch will not be provided during summer school. Breakfast; however, will be provided to students.
