Student Fees

Para información en español sobre las tarifas para el año escolar 2021-2022, por favor haga clic aquí.

DSST’s educational program includes components that are not fully funded through public revenue sources, as a result we need to supplement public sources through charging fees to our students. Each fee supports a specific component of DSST’s program, however we do not want there to be a financial barrier to attending DSST therefore fees are not required for attendance at DSST. Families are encouraged to pay at the beginning of the school year but have the option to work out a payment schedule with the front office team.

If your family qualifies for, or may qualify for, free or reduced price lunch, DSST will partner with you to find an amount that you are able to pay. The reduced fee schedule below is a suggested amount so please work with the front office team to determine the amount you’d like to pay.

Please note: Additional extracurricular activities may require fees to offset the cost of the club and families will be charged accordingly.

Families are able to pay off their fees throughout the school year. They may be paid in cash (exact change), check or credit card. If you have further questions, please contact the office manager, Leonardo Ruiz at 303-802-4111 or at leonardo.ruiz@scienceandtech.org

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the DPS Registration?

The DPS Registration simply verifies and collects all information we have on file for you and your student. We want to make sure all phone numbers, addresses, and other relevant information is up-to-date.

2. If I utilize the online option to complete registration, do I still have to come to the building

If you complete all the mandatory steps online (DPS Registration, Fees, and Free/Reduced Lunch application) you will not be required to stop by the school. Save some time, gas, and paper and complete 2021-2022 registration online! Click here for all the information.

3. I came to registration last year. Do I have to do it again?

Yes. Registration is a yearly event. We need to make sure that all information (household information, emergency contacts, medical forms, etc.) is up to date.

4. We will still be out on summer vacation during registration. What do I need to do to make sure that my student is set for the year?

All the mandatory steps must be completed before the first day of school. Re online (DPS Annual Family Update, Fees, and Free/Reduced Lunch application). If all mandatory components are completed, your student will be set for the first day of school. Click here for more information. Students cannot attend without completing DPS Registration.

5. I have a middle school and high school student. Can I complete both registrations at one school?

Families will be able to complete the DPS Annual Family Update once for both students online! While the middle school no longer requires families to come to the building to complete registration if they completed all mandatory steps online, the high school may still require families to stop by to complete certain portions that cannot be accessed online. Please reach out to the high school if you have questions regarding high school registration.
