Athletics Overview

DSST Public Schools has made the difficult decision to suspend all middle school sports. Schools are currently looking at creative ways to bring middle school sports back in 2021 if possible. Please connect with your school’s Athletic Director for more information.

The athletic program is an integral part of DSST’s curriculum and emphasizes the school’s Core Values. Students will develop strategic thinking skills, teamwork and good sportsmanship, all while having fun! Through playing sports, students will develop their physical, social and mental skills that will directly transfer into the classroom and be with them throughout their lives and the goal of our middle school sports program is to develop positive student habits and well rounded student athletes that are prepared for the academic and athletic demands of high school. Student athletes must remain in good academic standing in order to be able to participate in athletics and all school rules and policies apply to athletics.
