Welcome to DSST: Montview High School!

I am thrilled to be welcoming you and your students into DSST: Montview High School. I have just completed my first year as the School Director at the middle school and am very excited to once again be working directly with a high school! My favorite years of my entire career have all been when I was working in schools as a teacher of 9th, 11th, and 12th graders; as a principal of a 6-12 school outside Phoenix; and the last three plus years in middle and high schools with DSST.

Montview High School has a great history of academic success and I hope we have an even greater future. A school is so much more than a building where students come to learn. It is a collection of students, teachers, and families that share a common bond and, at our best, a common goal – to give the best possible education to our students, educating the whole child academically and socially. While we have a track record of success, we know we can always get better. And so we welcome you not just as parents and students. We also welcome and invite you as partners. I hope to have the chance to get to know all of our students and as many families as I can. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to ask questions, to share ideas, or just to say hello!

Sincerely,

Dan Sullivan

School Director

Student Fees

Fees are due at the start of the school year. They may be paid in cash (exact change), check or credit card. If you are unable to pay for fees at the beginning of the school year or have further questions, please contact the office manager, Monica Burkin, at 303-524-6340 or monica.burkin@scienceandtech.org.

We ask for your support in paying your child's registration fees in order to provide your child with all the benefits of a strong learning environment.

Total Fee

This fee covers a general fee, a technology fee, and an activities fee (for clubs, field trips, and advisories) for your student. $275.00
Reduced Fee However, we never want fees to limit your child's opportunity for an exceptional education. If your family qualifies for, or may qualify for free or reduced price lunch, DSST will partner with you to find the amount that you are confortable paying.   This is only a suggested amount. $110.00

Students playing a fall sport, will have to pay a $60 charge.  If your student is playing a sport later in the year, the bill will be sent to you to be paid before the season. Each trimester’s sports bill must be paid before the student athlete is allowed to play. If your family qualifies for free or reduced price lunch, this fee will be adjusted to $20. This new specific sports fee will allow us to continue to produce the successful programs we have in the past and make them even better. Thank you for your support of DSST, our students and our Athletics Program
