Congratulations on being accepted to DSST: Henry Middle School! We are excited to offer you a seat at our school. In order to be officially enrolled at DSST, at least one parent/legal guardian and your student MUST attend orientation. If you missed your school orientation, please contact the Front Office to inquire about make-up orientations.

Summer School

Who must attend: As a reminder, attendance during Summer School is mandatory for all new incoming students. We are excited to have your child begin their path to college at DSST: Henry. Summer School is one of the most important program requirements that we have to facilitate our students’ transition to our middle school. Program success in middle school is a critical first step to ensure that 100% of students will be accepted into a 4-year college or university. 

Dates: August 10-14

Times: 8:00 am to 11:30 pm (2nd Dismissal for Interventions) 12:00 pm

 Location: DSST: Henry Middle School, 3005 S. Golden Way, Denver, CO 80227

Dress Code: Students must be in full DSST: Henry uniform during Summer School


Annual Family Update (Registration)

Our Annual Family Update page explains all of the steps needed to register your student for school for the 2018-2019 School Year.

These steps are required by both DPS and DSST to ensure your student’s information is accurate and up to date. Please complete all of these steps as soon as is convenient for you, and preferably no later than 8/6/2018. If you do not complete the online DPS Annual Family Update by 8/6/2018, you can come into your school’s Registration Event on August 9th or 10th and complete the paper Annual Family Update form.


Summer School FAQs

1. Our summer plans coincide with the summer school session. What do we need to do in order to ensure that my child does not lose his/her spot? 

We understand that summer vacations are sometimes planned many months in advance. If you find that your student will not be able to attend summer school, please contact our school director, Lisa Richardson at either to make arrangements. 

2. Are students required to be in dress code during summer school? 
Yes. Students are required to abide by the dress code during summer school. 

3. Is transportation available during summer school? 
No, unfortunately transportation is not available during summer school. Many of our students use RTD to ride to and from school both during summer school and the school year. 

4. Will lunch be served during summer school? 
No, unfortunately we do not provide lunch during summer school. 

5. Will interventions (college prep, refocus, and mandatory tutoring) be served during summer school?
Yes. Interventions will be served during summer school.
