Orientation (required)

Orientation will provide vital information for both students and families about the coming years at DSST, guidance and support for the next steps in the enrollment process, and a space for students and families to begin building our community.


Home Visit (highly encouraged)

Thursday’s and Saturday’s in May. Home Visits are a unique time for staff members and families to connect one-on-one, review our Core Value pledge, and answer individual questions.

  • Home visit times will be finalized at Orientation, but will be happening between Thursdays and Saturdays in May


New Student Academy (required)  

New Student Academy (required)  

June 15th and 16th from 7:45-12:15

New Student Academy is a unique, meaningful opportunity for new-to-DSST students to meet their new classmates and staff members, build community, and learn the ropes of DSST. Attending New Student Academy is the best way to prepare for the start of the school year, and is required for all new to DSST students. Breakfast, lunch and transportation will be available.

Annual Family Update (Registration) (required)

The Annual Family Update fromally known as "Registration. All student are required to have their registration revised each year by parent or guardina to verify that all of the contact information is correct in our system. You will have the opportunity to complete it online on your own or at our campus using one of our computers on the dates and times above. More details with the link to the website where to fill it out will be posted soon. 

List of required documents

  • Proof of address (if you recently moved)
  • Immunization records (*Students must have their Tdap vaccination before the 1st day of school)+ current physical form signed by a doctor.


Back to School Night (required)

August 13th at 5:00p

Our number one goal for back to school night is to share our passion and excitement for our Pride while also sharing important information with all families as we look to build a strong foundation of partnership and communication with all families. During this time, you’ll get to meet your child’s advisor and teachers for the year.


First Day of School (required)

August 17, 2020 (only 6th grade)

Our first day of school will be a full day of school dedicated solely to welcoming our newest 6th graders.  We’ll be able to get school materials organized, learn how to open our lockers and get them decorated, meet our full advisory and learn about our advisory college, as well as meet all of our teachers.  7th and 8th graders will join us on August 18th
