Dear Montview Families,
As we wrap up the trimester and approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a minute to thank all of our families and to show my appreciation for all you have done for your students during this first trimester. It has been an up and down experience this year, but you all have done great work supporting your students, working with teachers, and keeping a positive attitude throughout.
Please take time during this break to give yourself and your students some space to relax, unwind, and come back ready for a strong start to Trimester 2. We have learned lots this trimester and we will get even stronger as a community!

Interim Assessment Information
Students will take their Interim Assessments (Final Exams) in Science, Social Studies and Honors Math on November 19th and 20th. There will be a modified schedule and students will be released at 1 PM both days.
Please make sure that students get plenty of sleep the night before and eat a hearty breakfast in the morning. They will attend advisory as normal then take their assessments. It is vital that students are at their computers on time with a quiet workspace so they can truly shine and show all of the amazing things they have learned so far this year. In order for teachers to best monitor students and support them as needed, please work with your student to have their cameras on and their mics muted. Students will have plenty of time to work through the assessments, so they will not need to rush and are strongly encouraged to pause before submitting to go back and check their work.
If your student is not in Honors Math, they have already taken their interim assessment. They will be engaging in a Connections Day. The vision for the day is to build an opportunity for Knights to go into Thanksgiving Break feeling a sense of community, joy and being able to celebrate their success in classes and as a cohort. Attendance for all students is still mandatory and students will be released at 1 PM.
Thank you for your continued support and please reach out with any questions or concerns you might have.
