Next Steps to Become Officially Enrolled at DSST

1. Participate in a family orientation. Orientations for DSST: Byers HS have now passed, please reach out to the school for information regarding make up dates.

2Attend DSST’s summer school. Details about summer school will be provided during your orientation. New students are highly encouraged to attend summer school during the below dates:

New-to-DSST: June 18-29, each weekday, 8:00-11:45am

3. Complete additional forms to verify enrollment for the 2018-19 school year. Please go to our Annual Family Update page for all the steps needed to complete this before August 6, 2018.

Summer School 

Who must attend: Welcome to the 2018-19 school year at DSST: Byers High School! As a reminder, attendance during Summer School is mandatory for all new incoming students. We are excited to have your child begin their path to college at DSST: Byers. Summer School is one of the most important program requirements that we have to facilitate our students’ transition to our high school. Program success in high school is a critical first step to ensure that 100% of students will be accepted into a 4-year college or university. 

Dates: June 18th – June 29th (every weekday)

Times: 8:00 am to 11:45am

Location: DSST: Byers High School, 150 S. Pearl Street, Denver, CO 80209

Dress Code: Students must be in dress code during summer school.

Annual Family Update 

Our Annual Family Update page explains all of the steps needed to register your student for school for the 2018-2019 School Year.

These steps are required by both DPS and DSST to ensure your student’s information is accurate and up to date. Please complete all of these steps as soon as is convenient for you, and preferably no later than 8/6/2018. If you do not complete the online DPS Annual Family Update by 8/6/2018, you can come into your school’s Registration Event on August 9th from 9am-6pm or August 10th from 7am-2pm and complete the paper Annual Family Update form.
